An overview of the most
fundamental training of
the Buddhist path, also reviewing how it differs
from secular mindfulness.

The 'Four Foundational Aspects of
Mindfulness' are
the very basis of the classical Buddhist path to liberation.
They constitute the first four of the '37 factors of
enlightenment'.
They are mindfulness of: body, feelings, mind and dharma.
In this
four-session overview, we will understand how these form a
progression and how awareness, mindfulness and care
form
a vital synergy needed for the mind to awaken to its innate
goodness.
1. The synergy of Awareness,
Mindfulness and Caring.
Mindfulness as Four: body, feelings, mind and dharma.
Mindfulness of Body in detail: the nature of human
incarnation.
2. Mindfulness of feelings: interdependence within personal
karma.
3. Mindfulness of Mind: consciousness and how it works.
4. Mindfulness of dharma: overall interdependence.
